University of Hawaii Graduate Assistant, Farnaz Kaviari, Details her Passion for Location-based Data and Disaster Resilience Research

The University of Hawaii is a member of the Pacific Southwest Region University Transportation Center (UTC) which is funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation's University Programs and led by the University of Southern California. Hawaii's UTC is led by Dr. Karl Kim, who is also the Executive Director of the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center (NDPTC) at the University of Hawaii. In the news this month, graduate research assistant and master's student, Farnaz Kaviari discusses her passion for spatial analyses, location-based data, and disaster resilience research.
