This summer, the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center (NDPTC) is hosting its inaugural annual Joint Science Internship for Pacific Resilience and Security (JSIPRS) that brings U.S. Service Academy students to NDPTC's joint offices with NOAA at the Inouye Regional Center (IRC) located at Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The purpose of this program is to explore real-world challenges in natural hazards training, forecasting, and management. To learn more about this program, click here.
