Hitting a Milestone

The National Disaster Preparedness Training Center, which opened its doors in 2010 as a FEMA training provider, has developed and delivered FEMA certified training nationwide to all states and territories. Since its inception, the NDPTC has developed and delivered training focused on natural disasters, coastal communities, and the opportunities and challenges associated with islands and territories. Today, we have hit a milestone and have trained 50,000 first responders and emergency mangers, and those involved in the response, preparedness, mitigation, and recovery of disasters from the States and Local communities. We would like to thank all of our stakeholders, instructors, subject matter experts, and staff for assisting us in reaching this milestone.
