The Status of Hurricane Arthur

Hurricane Arthur current maximum sustained winds are 90 mph (Category 1), expected to intensify to approximately 100 mph (Category 2) in coming hours.  Landfall in North Carolina and Outer Banks region is forecast, with greatest impacts felt along those coastlines with Hurricane Warnings in effect.
