WEAC TV 24 in Anniston, Alabama reports on the National State Administrative Agency Symposium

"Emergency management officials from across the nation are in Anniston this week to get a first-hand look at the training that takes place at the Center for Domestic Preparedness at McClellan. The Director of Mission Readiness at the CDP says this meeting is designed to give those state officials a hands-on experience of the training program. This three-day meeting is being sponsored by the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium, which includes the CDP at McClellan and six other training facilities across the nation. The Chairman of the NDPC, says his group represents a coordinated effort to provide the best training possible for first-responders. Kim says that since it began its mission, the NDPC has trained more than two million first-responders and emergency managers nation-wide.
